Richard and Rier

It's funny how enjoyable and therapeutic change can be! I spent most of the spring fishing, camping and restoring an old boat with my son Rier. I started a new career with a Vancouver-based (financially stable) company back in April, helped Rier catch & land his first fish back in June, took more courses this past September and moved into a new condo here in Maple Ridge in November.

I wish you all a happy and safe 2009, and may you & your family escape this financial turmoil relatively unscathed.
